Trine University invites applications for part-time adjunct positions in the field of Information Studies. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis to support program and enrollment growth. Applications are active for one year from submission date.

This adjunct faculty position is for online teaching, with travel to our Detroit, Michigan location once per eight-week term, per course (subject to change).

Responsibilities include:

• Actively engaging students through frequent interaction and conveying enthusiasm for their learning.
• Providing thorough and constructive feedback using rubrics to assess work and acknowledge accomplishments.
• Demonstrating current subject-matter expertise and helping students connect concepts across their academic program.
• Working with the Trine Online team to seek continuous improvement for courses and programs.

All new online faculty are required to complete onboarding training as a condition of hire.

• A terminal degree from an accredited institution, with at least 18 graduate credit hours in the field (preferred).
• Extensive professional experience in a related field.

• Previous experience teaching online at the university level.

Salary is based on credit hours taught and student enrollment. Candidates must provide official transcripts during the selection process.
