System Nursing Education Specialist
Full Time – Days – Detroit

Responsibilities- Responsible for supporting, developing, and delivering high-quality nursing educational content across Henry Ford Health.
- Supports department leadership in setting education goals and milestones.
- Partners with colleagues and stakeholders across the system to develop and deploy a variety of learning and development programs to be used both locally and systemwide.
- Leads the development of system courses and projects to achieve strategic business objectives.
- Responsible for conducting education and training sessions in person and virtually in multiple venues.
- Flexibility to allow for travel to Henry Ford Health locations.
- Leads the evaluation of individual projects and supports the monitoring and evaluation of the overall education program.
Position: 40 hours per week

INTERNAL CANDIDATES MUST APPLY WITH INTERNAL PROFILE
Education & Experience- Master's degree in nursing required.
- CRITICAL CARE EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.
- Current Michigan RN licensure required, or ability to obtain Michigan licensure.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in training and education, educational design, and delivery.
- Competence in curriculum or program design, development, implementation, and evaluation.
- Experience facilitating courses and creating training materials.
- Ability to interpret and assess training and development needs.
- Knowledge and understanding of adult learning principles, and of a wide range of training methods, techniques, and formats.
- Must be self-directed, proactive, and able to work independently.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
- Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
