Early Head Start Teacher

Our Client is seeking an Early Head Start Teacher in the Detroit area to plan and implement educational activities for infants and toddlers, promoting age-appropriate growth and development in various areas.

CLIENT'S HOURS & HOURLY RATE

Compensation depends on the contractor's experience, education, availability, and skills.

* Monday - Friday (during school hours)

SUMMARY OF THE OPPORTUNITY

• Ensure daily activities and interactions reflect the program's mission and goals
• Evaluate children’s progress regularly and report findings
• Assist in maintaining up-to-date health and developmental screenings
• Willing to 'fill in' where needed
• Collaborate with instructional, support, and administrative staff
• Plan assignments and participate in the performance review of the assistant teacher

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education/Child Development or Elementary Education with a ZA (or Early Childhood) endorsement
• Previous professional experience with infants and toddlers
• Reliable transportation
