Wayne State University has an available position of Assistant Professor
- Research in Detroit, MI.
Position requires a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Molecular Cell Biology. Position also requires:
1) Ph.D. dissertation in mitochondrial bioenergetics.
- Teach university courses in Mitochondrial Biology including: MGG 7020 - Metabolism & Disease; MGG 8770 - Molecular Biology of Mitochondrial Disease; IBS 7015 - Interdisciplinary Cell & Molecular Biology; & MGG 7400 - Molecular Biology of Cellular Signaling.
- Develop course in "molecular biology of aging." Course number not yet assigned.
- Advise students.
- Conduct research in mitochondrial bioenergetics.
- Publish results in peer-reviewed journals & present results of research at professional conferences.
