As a Bird Removal Technician, you will be the face of Ecolab - working directly with customers in commercial environments to identify and resolve bird-related issues. You’ll combine hands-on technical work with customer interaction, all while receiving training and support to grow your career.

What You Will Do:

  • Inspect customer facilities to identify bird activity and risks
  • Recommend and implement bird control solutions tailored to customer needs
  • Educate customers on prevention techniques and bird behavior
  • Provide responsive, high-quality service to build strong customer relationships
  • Adapt to changing job conditions and solving problems in the field
  • Travel to customer locations using your personal vehicle

Position Details:

  • Location: Detroit, MI
  • Work Week & Shift: Part Time;
    Sunday, Monday, Tuesday – on call
  • Pay: $17/hr + incentive job pay
  • Travel: 150
    -250 mile radius of Detroit, MI
  • Vehicle: Personal vehicle required for travel

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Position requires a current and valid Driver’s License with no restrictions
  • Reliable, insured vehicle
  • Residence within 50 miles of Detroit, MI
  • Ecolab conducts a background check on all candidates who receive a job offer
  • Due to federal contract requirements, this position requires a drug test including THC for all candidates who receive a job offer
  • Mobile smartphone
  • Immigration sponsorship is not available for this role

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods
  • Frequent bending, kneeling, and reaching
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions
  • Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and use lifts
  • Ability to travel long distances to customer sites

  • Experience in pest control, wildlife control, or field service roles
  • Customer service experience
  • Mechanical or equipment operation experience
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
