Heavy Civil Senior Estimator - East Region

Jacobs is seeking an experienced estimator to support heavy civil, highway, bridge, transit, rail, airport, and urban development projects across Michigan.

$/yr – $/yr.

• Develop capital cost estimates for transportation/transit projects.
• Review contractor proposals for various procurement types.
• Review and validate change orders.
• Present capital costs to external clients.
• Maintain organized project records and logs.
• Attend project meetings as required.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Progressive and successful cost estimating experience in transportation projects.
• Proficient use of MS Office, HCSS (Heavy Bid) estimating software, and Blue Beam.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field.
• 8‑20 years of estimating and construction experience in heavy civil construction.
• Experience with alternative delivery procurement.
• Understanding of the relationship between cost, risk, and schedule.
• Certifications such as CEP, CCP, PMP, or CCM (plus).
