The Field Services Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating various activities related to the installation and maintenance of solar, battery, EV Charging, and telecommunication projects. The role involves coordinating logistics on Field Partner deployments and ensuring that field operations run smoothly and profitably. The Field Services Coordinator will work within Green Lancer's web application to coordinate with a network of Field Service Partners (FSPs) to perform onsite services necessary.
Responsibilities- Assign and coordinate Field Service Partners to complete field operations as quickly and profitably as possible.
- Assign field service partners to projects based on job requirements, customer requests, and resource availability.
- Monitor and control the margins for field service operations, optimizing resource utilization and minimizing unnecessary expenses.
- Serve as a communication bridge between Customers and Field Service teams.
- Collaborate with Field Service Partners and Customers (if applicable) for material or service procurement.
- Gather the scope of work and project estimates.
- Act as a point of contact between homeowners and field service teams.
- Address inquiries, resolve issues, and provide updates on service requests or project status.
- Ensure Field Service Partners meet program requirements and adhere to safety and communication protocols.
- Monitor field work progress to meet quality standards and customer expectations.
- Collect and analyze data related to field service activities, tracking performance metrics, and generating reports for management.
- Maintain accurate records of Field Service Partner activities, including job completion reports, maintenance logs, and service contracts.
- Ensure that field service work meets quality standards and customer expectations, conducting inspections or audits as needed.
- Bachelors or Associates degree preferred, but not required.
- 1 to 3 years of project coordination or field related experience is required.
- CRM software experience preferred.
- Team player that behaves ethically, with highest degree of integrity at all times.
- Very strong organizational and communication (both verbal and written) skills.
- Strong computer skills; including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to adapt and work in an open, fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
- Highly positive energy and can‑do personality.
- Strong desire to out‑perform the competition and scale Installation Field Services.
- Specialized Knowledge, Skills & Abilities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to be proactive and self‑directed, utilizing good time management, decision‑making, and organization skills.
- Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks and work in a fast‑paced environment.
- A collaborative approach to organizational management is essential, and ability to work well with remote management and staff.
