Cyber Security Engineer
We are looking for an Automotive Cyber Security Engineer to support cybersecurity activities for connected and electrified vehicle systems, ensuring compliance with ISO/SAE 21434 across the system development lifecycle.
You will work in a multidisciplinary environment, collaborating with system, software, hardware, safety, and validation teams to identify, analyze, and mitigate cybersecurity risks at vehicle and system level.
Key Responsibilities- Support cybersecurity concept definition in accordance with ISO/SAE 21434
- Perform TARA (Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment) at vehicle and system level
- Conduct Cybersecurity GAP Analysis against ISO 21434 requirements
- Define and manage cybersecurity requirements and mitigation measures
- Ensure traceability between cybersecurity goals, requirements, architecture, and verification
- Support cybersecurity work products across the development lifecycle
- Collaborate with system and software teams to ensure secure architectures and interfaces
- Support reviews, assessments, and customer cybersecurity milestones
- Contribute to continuous improvement of cybersecurity processes and methodologies
- 3–7+ years of experience in Automotive Cyber Security
- Solid knowledge of ISO/SAE 21434
- Hands-on experience with TARA activities
- Experience performing Cybersecurity GAP Analysis
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity requirements management and traceability
- Ability to work at system level across multiple domains
- Analytical mindset with a structured approach to risk assessment
- Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or related field
- Experience with connected vehicle systems (ECUs, networks, gateways)
- Familiarity with system engineering or MBSE environments
- Experience with tools for requirements and traceability (e.g. Polarion, DOORS, similar)
- Knowledge of automotive communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
- Proactive attitude and problem-solving mindset
