BPI Engineer

Overview

DP World, a growing global contract logistics provider, seeks a Business Process Improvement (BPI) Lead to manage BPI projects across the Americas. Remote role with required travel to U.S. and Canada.

• Plan, coordinate and execute engineering functions for assigned projects.
• Support lean principles and apply tools such as standardized work, 5S, TPM, JIT, and pull systems.
• Develop plant and process layouts, improve existing layouts to maximize space and labor.
• Assist in equipment purchasing decisions and manage contractors.
• Utilize 5S, Kaizen, JIT, capacity studies, time‑motion, Six Sigma, AutoCAD, MS Excel.
• Obtain quotes, perform cost analysis, and manage contractor work on installations.
• Develop maintenance systems for equipment and facilities.
• Institutionalize TPM methodology and track project capital budget.
• Assist with training plant engineers during plant launches.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with 5S, Kaizen, JIT, labor balancing, capacity studies, time‑motion, Six Sigma, AutoCAD, Excel.
• Proficient in MS Office and project management software.
• Ability to travel to assist in launching new facilities.
