Senior Electrical Designer
Agilus is recruiting for a Senior Electrical Designer in the Engineering Consultancy Industry in Detroit, Michigan /
Windsor, Ontario
.
The Senior Electrical Designer plays a key role in developing electrical layouts and schematics for a variety of projects.
Typical Day- Develop electrical schematics/layouts (SLD, power distribution, lighting layouts, panel schedules, load calculations, etc.) based on project deliverables
- Prepare various reports based on collected data (power studies, Arc Flash, etc.) for Senior reviewers
- Assist in Contract Administration (prepare Form of Tender documentation, organize specifications, review tender submissions, etc.)
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technologist diploma with electrical focus or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 10 years experience in an engineering environment
- Proficiency in 2D AutoCAD and REVIT is required
- Lighting design and analysis software AGI
32 and Electrical power system simulation and analysis software SKM is considered an asset - Must be able to work under pressure with tight deadlines and fluctuating schedules
