This role sits within ABB’s Robotics business, a leading global robotics company. We’re entering an exciting new chapter as we announced the plan for Soft Bank Group to acquire ABB Robotics. Field Service Manager

• Performing entry‑level field service tasks, identifying technical issues, and performing analysis through remote or on‑site activity in service categories and products. Also capable of traveling on short notice and able to handle air travel.
• Reviewing material lists needed for service activity and ensuring that all materials, parts, and equipment are available and of appropriate quality for service activities.
• Executing work on a first‑time right approach with customers, ensuring the job is done on time and as per quality standards, and contributing to customer satisfaction by executing service work as per customer order and expectations. Making recommendations to avoid such issues in the future.
• Troubleshooting simple equipment failures and making recommendations to avoid such issues in the future, and maintaining strong customer relationships through clear communication in high‑pressure situations.

• Bachelor’s degree with 1+ years of field/troubleshooting/maintenance/technical support experience, or a High School Diploma with 5+ years of similar experience.
• Ability and willingness to travel approximately 85% as required.
• Good mechanical experience. Electrical and programming experience also a plus.
• Knowledge of PLC communications and other robotic peripheral equipment preferred.
• Computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Windows).
