About This Role
As a Tax Professional, you will assist our clients with their U.S. Federal, State, and Local income tax compliance requirements for the tax year, as well as their Tax Accounting requirements (e.g., ASC 740 Income Taxes).
You will lead and drive necessary change and improvement on a domestic and global scale. This includes working collaboratively to identify and implement solutions, accelerate change involving processes, data, and systems, and providing clear guidance, direction, advice, and metrics while managing risk and controversy.
You will leverage your previous corporate income tax and/or public accounting experience to help clients ensure project success.
What You Will Work On
Prepare corporate local, state, and federal income tax returns.Prepare book-to-tax adjustments.Prepare and review tax package information questionnaires submitted to business controllers.Support the tax department during compliance season.Ensure local, state, or federal compliance through research, calculations, and estimated payments.Perform income tax provision calculations under ASC 740 on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.Identify, lead, and implement data and technology improvements, process enhancements, and best practices.What You Will Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.Master's in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation preferred.CPA preferred but not required.10+ years of relevant tax experience, including preparing and reviewing corporate income tax returns.Experience with US Federal Income Tax and/or State and Local Tax.Ability to research, analyze, and resolve specific US tax issues with minimal supervision.Ability to collaborate with finance, legal, and operations teams within a corporate structure.Proficiency in income tax provision calculations under ASC 740.Experience with Tax Provision, Tax Compliance, Federal Tax, and State/Local Tax.Significant experience with tax engines like Corptax or One Source; strong Excel skills.What You Can Expect
