Key Responsibilities- Review complex individual tax returns, providing planning and advising for high‑net‑worth individuals and families.
- Collaborate with specialists in International tax, state & local tax, and asset management to deliver comprehensive solutions.
- Manage, coach, and develop a team of tax professionals, reviewing work and ensuring they have the resources to excel.
- Act as a trusted advisor, building long‑term relationships and translating complex data into client‑ready insights.
- High‑quality review of complex tax returns.
- Extensive experience with hedge fund and private‑equity K‑1s.
- Researching tax issues to develop effective planning strategies.
- Building and maintaining long‑term client relationships.
- Staying current on technical and Apprentice knowledge.
- Identifying and responding to risks and opportunities to improve services.ố>
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with substantial tax or financial‑planning experience.
- CPA license or licensed attorney required.
- Minimum eight years in professional services or a professional tax organization.
- Thorough understanding of estate and wealth planning.
- Experience with federal and state personal and trust income tax.
- Excellent collaboration, negotiation, and confidence to challenge senior stakeholders.
- Knowledge of automated tax processing systems and applicable laws.
- Proven record in high‑net‑worth tax planning.
- Proven record in a professional services environment.
- Experience coaching and mentoring junior colleagues.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Adaptability to work with internal and client teams.
