OverviewThe Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Department houses multidisciplinary programs and services focused on primary and secondary prevention and rehabilitation, including:
- Phase 1 Inpatient Cardiac Rehabilitation at UH/Ross/James
- Phase 1 Inpatient Pulmonary Rehabilitation at UH/Ross/James
This position assists in the clinical, technical, clerical and educational operations of the Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Department at the Medical Center, helping provide exceptional patient care in our phase 1 cardiopulmonary rehab programming. Responsibilities include bedside education, early ambulation, and referral initiation to capture continuity of care to outpatient programming.
Minimum Education RequiredBachelor's Level Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree in exercise science or related field
- Knowledge of computers
- Exceptional customer relations skills
- Cardiac or Pulmonary experience
- Direct patient experience
