Your past experiences have led you to understand that there is an art + science to the how and what a hospitality operations professional is responsible for. You are what your friends might affectionately call a “coffee nerd”. You inhale deeply every time you pass a coffee shop taking in the rich aroma. Nothing pleases you quite as much as getting the perfect crema on your espresso pulls.

Your passion for coffee is only rivaled by your passion for hospitality. You love your place in the community- you get the neighborhood up and running. Without you businesses just wouldn’t be buzzing and that is something that you take pride in.

Baristas report to the F&B Director and F&B managers/supervisors and works in a team environment with other servers, server assistants, bartenders, barbacks, dishwashers, cooks, and chefs. It is critical the person in this position possess a strong background in the art of coffee and tea making. As a barista, you will be responsible for creating memorable guest experiences. Your interactions may be brief ones, but your guests know they can count on you to get their day started with a smile.

All of our service team members are expected to be reliable and responsible. You will arrive changed, polished and mentally ready to work on time. We put an emphasis on treating all of our team members just like we treat our guests- giving a smile, a helping hand, and a willingness to jump in to assist in any situation. You will also actively develop trusting and transparent relationships with your peers on the service team and other associates of the hotel.
