Rate: $30 – $35/hour (W2)
This is a hybrid contract opportunity based in Detroit, MI, supporting a customer‑focused organization with high‑volume hiring needs. The role requires a seasoned Senior Recruiter who can manage multiple requisitions simultaneously across a wide range of skill sets, including plant and field‑based roles, engineers, and office professional staff. Candidates must be comfortable working in fast‑paced environments and leveraging applicant tracking systems (ATS) to drive efficient recruiting outcomes.
This role is ideal for a recruiter who thrives on variety and volume. You’ll partner closely with hiring managers, balance competing priorities, and play a critical role in keeping hiring pipelines moving. With a short initial duration and strong potential for extensions, this position offers stability, exposure to diverse roles, and the opportunity to make an immediate impact.
Required Skills & Experience- Senior‑level recruiting experience supporting high‑volume requisitions
- Proven experience recruiting across varied skill sets (plant/field staff, engineers, and office professionals)
- Strong customer‑facing recruiting experience
- Ability to manage multiple open requisitions simultaneously
- Experience using and navigating a variety of ATS platforms
- Prior experience recruiting in manufacturing, industrial, or field‑based environments
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and hiring demands
100% Applicant Tracking Systems (varied platforms)
Daily Responsibilities- 70% Hands‑On Recruiting, Sourcing, and Screening
- 10% ATS Management, Reporting, and Process Improvement
- Hybrid work schedule in Detroit, MI
- 40 hours per week
