We’re a rapidly growing e-commerce company based in Detroit, building systems that combine craftsmanship, sustainability, and technology. Our operations span production, fulfillment, and digital retail. We’re looking for a resourceful and detail-oriented Automation Engineer to help us streamline internal processes and improve operational efficiency.

This is a hands‑on, project‑based role focused on identifying bottlenecks, improving data flow, and developing smart technical solutions that make our systems more connected and efficient. You’ll collaborate with our operations and leadership teams to implement practical tools that enhance speed, visibility, and accuracy across the business.

If key project metrics are achieved, there is potential for this role to transition into a permanent position on our growing technology team.

• Audit current workflows and identify automation opportunities
• Build and test integrations or scripts that improve efficiency and data accuracy
• Develop lightweight tools or dashboards for internal team use
• Document all processes for long‑term maintenance
• Recommend scalable technical improvements for future phases

• Experienced in software automation, process optimization, or systems integration
• Skilled in Python, JavaScript, or similar scripting languages
• Familiar with automation platforms such as Zapier, Make (Integromat), or Google Apps Script
• Able to translate real‑world problems into clear, technical solutions
• Organized, communicative, and comfortable working autonomously in a fast‑paced environment
