At EY, we help our clients shape a better working world through innovative technology solutions. In a leading role as a Service Now Consulting Manager, you will guide the transformation of IT and Operational Technology (OT) Asset Management for major enterprises.
Key Responsibilities- Lead Service Now Transformation teams in a rapidly growing area of the business, establishing and maintaining client relationships.
- Identify and define user/customer requirements while developing user interfaces across mobile, web, and tablet platforms.
- Engage in coding, programming, and creating specifications to deliver development services that align with business requirements.
- Develop complex solutions, recommend policy changes, and establish procedures that impact your work area.
- Exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to achieve high-quality results.
- Provide direction, feedback, and mentorship to team members, ensuring successful task completion.
- Act as an engagement or workstream lead across all aspects of a Service Now IT/OM Asset Management project and solution delivery, including design, configuration, development, testing, and deployment.
- Assume a client‑visible role, leading work streams from planning through execution and closure, and travel as needed.
- Manage and mentor a multi‑disciplinary team of 5‑10+ resources, including offshore consultants, developers, and testers.
- Build and foster client relationships, demonstrating the value of EY services.
- Use excellent business acumen to make fact‑based decisions and resolve conflicts.
- Provide guidance and industry‑leading practice expertise for Service Now IT/OM Asset Management process implementations.
- Analyze an organization’s IT/OM Asset Management people, process, and technology capabilities, offering leading‑practice recommendations.
- Advise on the connectivity of the CMDB, ITOM, and ITSM processes.
- Lead client process and design sessions, facilitating requirements workshops with functional and business process subject matter experts.
- Apply both waterfall and agile delivery models, supporting planning, status reporting, budgets, and risk and issue logs.
- Support pre‑sales efforts, creating proposals and estimates.
- Produce high quality deliverables and project artifacts.
- Drive executive communication (written and verbal), adaptability, problem‑solving, teamwork, relationship building, dependability, and organization skills.
- Possess a valid driver’s license in the U.S. and the ability to travel to meet client needs.
- A bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Engineering or a related discipline.
- 4‑6 years of relevant Service Now IT/OM Asset Management project experience.
- Service Now Certified Systems Administrator (CSA) or Certified Application Developer (CAD).
- Minimum of 2 of the following Service Now certifications:
- Service Now Certified Implementation Specialist – Hardware Asset Management
- Service Now Certified Implementation Specialist – Software Asset Management
- Service Now Certified Implementation Specialist – Data Foundations
- 5+ years of Big‑4 or equivalent consulting experience.
- Excellent soft skills: executive communication, adaptability, problem solving, teamwork, relationship building, dependability, and organization.
- Experience leading teams and supervising others.
- Service Now Certified Master Architect (CMA) or Certified Technical Architect (CTA).
- Service Now Certified Implementation Specialist – Discovery.
- Service Now Certified Implementation Specialist – Vulnerability Response.
- Performance analytics and reporting experience – certifications are a plus.
- Experience in Service Now’s AI solutions (Now Assist, Agentic, AI Control Tower).
