Lead Cloud Engineer - Tax Technology Practice

We are currently seeking a Lead Cloud Engineer to join our Tax Technology practice.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain automation scripts for managing the Azure environment, enhancing operational efficiency
- Design, implement, and administer Azure environments that support our mission‑critical enterprise systems, ensuring system stability
- Serve as a Cloud Dev Ops subject matter expert, driving innovation and sharing knowledge across the team
- Create and update supporting documentation for processes and cloud automated tools, promoting standardization and knowledge sharing
- Handle cloud patching, security updates, and vulnerability remediation to ensure system security
- Collaborate closely with the application team for the deployment of new and existing applications, fostering cross‑functional teamwork
- Minimum five years of recent experience in Cloud Dev Ops, specifically with Azure environment management and engineering
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, information technology, or a related field
- Proven experience in developing automation scripts and managing large, mission‑critical enterprise systems
- Demonstrated expertise in cloud patching, security updates, and vulnerability remediation
- Excellent collaboration skills; strong understanding of Azure services, network, and security with experience working closely with application teams
- Strong communication skills with the ability to create and update supporting documentation for processes and cloud automated tools
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment‑based visa sponsorship now or in the future. KPMG will not sponsor applicants for U.S. work visa status for this opportunity.
