Site Reliability Engineer – Amtex Systems Inc.
Location:
500 Woodward Ave, Detroit, MI 48226
Role is onsite.
Responsibilities- Design scalable, highly available systems that meet business requirements.
- Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning using AWS Cloud Formation, Terraform, or Ansible.
- Write scripts to automate repetitive tasks with Python or Bash.
- Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting using AWS Cloud Watch and Dynatrace observability tool.
- Respond to incidents, troubleshoot issues, and provide on‑call support as necessary.
- Document architecture, design decisions, and operational procedures for internal and client use.
- Work closely with software developers, operations teams, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver cloud solutions.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS cloud services: IAM, Lambda, ECS, EC2, S3, RDS, Dynamo
DB. - Proficiency in cloud provisioning tools: AWS Cloud Formation, Terraform, Ansible.
- Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash.
- Experience designing and implementing alerts and dashboards using Dynatrace observability tool.
- Ability to document architecture and operational procedures.
- Must showcase AWS, Ansible, Terraform, and Python on resume.
