Job Summary
In this role, you will work with other business units to gather requirements to support strategic projects. You will also represent the customer to the development team. In this position, you will be responsible for driving and defining the launch of new products, features, and services within Little Caesar Enterprises, Inc. You should have a deep understanding of your product(s) and a solid grasp of data analytics, strategy, software development, and Agile methodologies to deliver a high-quality product to increase company revenue.
Additionally, you should be able to partner with internal technical experts, external stakeholders, and key commercial service partners to collaborate in the development of product roadmaps, define and execute priorities, and outline milestones and deliverables.
- Manage multiple moderate complexity projects, including interviewing partner areas, business users, business SME's and IT to further refine system effectiveness.
- Ensure completeness of business analysis that includes business requirement walk-throughs, adjustments and stakeholder sign-off.
- Display and utilize business acumen and awareness in order to understand and align with business needs.
- Communicate with business users on system productivity, analysis of business system process flows, to assess impact on systems and ongoing reports.
- Assist QA with test design and testing based on the business requirements and acceptance criteria of user stories.
- Responsible for requirement documentation, analysis, presentation, and modeling with the proper context to effectively transfer knowledge and information. Includes supporting knowledge retention over time and through team attrition.
- Provide support and technical expertise to less experienced Business Analysts. Including, but not limited to, requirements gathering, user story creation, use of tools (i.e., Azure Dev Ops), and backlog grooming.
- Provide input during development and implementation phases, including formulation and definition of systems scope, objectives, and necessary system enhancements for complex, high-impact projects
- Assist in leading various agile ceremonies as needed. Ceremonies include the daily scrum, product demos, story writing, and sprint planning.
- Collaborate with the UI/UX team to develop screen designs and mocks based on business requirements. Maintain ongoing collaboration to improve product designs and user experience through customer feedback and user testing.
- Lead major project meetings such as kick-off sessions, product increment planning and executive project reviews.
- Develop, document and negotiate API contracts between system components using (non-technical) API authoring tools.
- Evaluates data, consumer feedback, and internal feedback to develop insights and ultimately product features tied to objectives with product end-users (pizza-buying customers, store crew members). Expected to be a thought leader within your domain.
- Cross-functional dependencies are understood and accounted for to ensure business needs are met with the expected outcome and on time.
- Works in an Agile environment and continuously reviews the business needs, defines priorities, outlines milestones and deliverables, and identifies opportunities and risks. Ultimately, ensuring the product aligns with company mission and goals
- Prioritizes and maintains the sprint backlog for assigned products, balancing the requirements of stakeholders, the Director of Product Strategy, and technical teams and leads the product functional design process based on an intimate knowledge of the users and technology. Ensure adequate time is included in all planning to support technical quality initiatives.
- Translates product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements including features, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Resolve development and requirement issues where necessary to speed delivery. Ensure developers understand the value of features which are being developed and that they are implementing user stories correctly.
Skills and Abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Communications or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of four (4) to six (6) years combined experience in development lifecycle experience, creation and execution of test experience, and writing accurate and precise functional design specifications with an attention to detail.
- Demonstrate flexibility to deal with ambiguity, and the willingness to learn new skills.
- Highly professional with a strong customer service orientation, commitment to meeting deadlines, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Work with teams to project scope, timeline, and project milestones to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and consistent with shareholder expectations.
