. Candidates must be located within 90 miles of Detroit, MI. Interviews will be held in person in Detroit, MI. There is no option for a video interview.

Our client is seeking an Asset Management & Deployment Specialist to support technology asset lifecycle management, device deployment, warehouse operations, and end-user support.

This position will support all phases of the technology asset lifecycle, from initial receipt and deployment through maintenance and final disposal. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced enterprise technology environment.

Job Responsibilities
  • Support all phases of the technology asset lifecycle, including acquisition, receipt, deployment, maintenance, inventory management, and disposal.
  • Serve as a first point of contact for questions related to technology purchases and device orders.
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding order status, deliveries, onboarding, offboarding, and equipment pickup.
  • Assist with coordinating the deployment of technology devices to multiple locations.
  • Schedule and coordinate timely delivery of devices.
  • Conduct new-hire orientations and technology best-practice workshops during device deployment.
  • Support warehouse organization and maintenance, including staging, labeling, and organizing shelves, bays, and equipment.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service when addressing questions, concerns, and technology-related requests.
  • Follow established procedures and guidelines to ensure consistency and accuracy in asset deployment and management.
  • Maintain accurate and current records for all technology assets.
  • Track incoming technology orders and confirm receipt of devices and equipment.
  • Manage partial orders and work with vendors to resolve outstanding issues.
  • Update and maintain inventory records.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve order, warranty, and delivery issues with vendors, carriers, and internal teams.
  • Assist with coordinating physical inventory counts and technology audits.
  • Provide inventory reporting related to lost, stolen, damaged, or targeted devices.
  • Monitor stock levels to ensure equipment is available for deployment.
  • Develop and update internal knowledge articles, documentation, and frequently asked questions.
  • Follow warehouse safety procedures and ensure technology assets are securely stored and organized.
  • Collaborate with other technical and business teams to complete projects and resolve asset-management-related incidents.
  • Assist with special projects related to technology deployment and asset management.
  • Provide professional, courteous, and responsive service to stakeholders.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
    .
  • Proven experience with IT asset management and technology deployment
    , preferably in a large enterprise or educational environment.
  • Minimum of 5 years of desktop/computer support experience
    .
  • Experience troubleshooting and performing routine maintenance on computers and peripheral equipment.
  • Experience supporting Apple, HP, Lenovo, and Dell products is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365
    , including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Familiarity with ITSM and ITAM tools and database management.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer-service skills.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and quality.
  • Ability to follow established procedures and produce accurate reports and metrics.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, meet deadlines, and prioritize requests.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment.
  • Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance
    .
  • Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
    .
