The Energy Supply Software Configuration Analyst will work closely with Energy Supply business stakeholders and Information Technology teams to analyze business needs, define system requirements, configure enterprise applications, and support technology solutions.
This role focuses on Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) enterprise applications, including Oracle Primavera P6, Oracle Unifier, Hitachi Energy eSOMS, Pandell Land Property Management, and other business systems.
The successful candidate will translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, use cases, process flows, and configuration designs. Responsibilities also include system implementation, application configuration, testing, test automation, data analysis, integration support, Agile delivery, and post-production application support.
The analyst will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, support end users, maintain technical documentation, and help ensure enterprise applications deliver measurable business value.
Required Qualifications Experience- Minimum 5 years of experience in Information Technology, Business Systems Analysis, Application Support, or related technical disciplines.
- Minimum 3 years of experience supporting Oracle Primavera P6, Oracle Unifier, or similar enterprise project and construction management software platforms.
- Strong experience gathering business requirements and developing functional documentation.
- Experience creating user stories, use cases, business process documentation, and system requirement specifications.
- Experience with enterprise application configuration, implementation, and support.
- Experience with software testing, test planning, test execution, and defect management.
- Experience supporting enterprise application integration and data analysis activities.
- Knowledge of Oracle Primavera P6, Oracle Unifier, or comparable enterprise applications.
- Understanding of on-premises, cloud-hosted, and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) environments.
- Knowledge of software testing methodologies and test automation.
- Working knowledge of Worksoft or comparable test automation tools.
- Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure Dev Ops (ADO).
- Strong data analysis, data mapping, reconciliation, and information management skills.
- Knowledge of enterprise application interfaces and integration concepts.
- Familiarity with risk, issue, change request, and defect management processes.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong facilitation, stakeholder management, and client relationship skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
- Strong documentation, organization, and time-management skills.
- Experience with Pandell Land Property Management.
- Experience supporting energy supply, utilities, or related enterprise business systems.
- Experience with Hitachi Energy eSOMS.
- Experience with enterprise project management and construction management applications.
- Experience developing and maintaining automated testing solutions using Worksoft.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot and other AI-powered productivity tools.
- Experience applying Lean principles, performance metrics, and business case analysis.
