Senior Property Risk Engineer

• Conduct specialist Risk Assessment surveys at complex client locations to identify potential hazards and risk factors
• Document findings and recommendations for clients and Account Executives
• Consult with clients on hazard control measures to mitigate losses and influence implementation of recommendations
• Serve as a technical expert resource to Risk Control Consultants and Underwriters
• Maintain current knowledge of regulatory environments and emerging issues in the technical specialist discipline

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Minimum of five years of experience in fire science, engineering discipline, or property fire protection field
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to attain necessary certifications to meet state-specific requirements
• Exceptional technical and interpersonal skills

• 8 or more years of experience in Property/Highly Protected Risk (HPR) skills and experience
• Technical training experience
• Strong written communication skills and ability to simplify complex technical information
• Understanding of insurance products, services, and risk selection practices
