Position: Portuguese OPI & VI Interpreters – Michigan | FREE Legal Training

Ad Astra is expanding its network of Portuguese interpreters in Michigan for upcoming Over-the-Phone (OPI) and Virtual Interpretation (VI) opportunities.

We are looking for interpreters interested in expanding their professional experience into the legal interpreting field
. Selected candidates will have the opportunity to complete Legal Interpretation Training at NO COST as part of the onboarding process.

Job Type: Freelance / Independent Contractor

Work Location: Remote - Michigan

Languages Needed

Portuguese & English

Qualifications

Full professional proficiency in English and Portuguese

Currently located in Michigan

Professional interpreting experience preferred

Strong communication and active listening skills

Ability to provide accurate, impartial, and culturally appropriate interpretation
