A law firm seeks a junior career attorney to join its Business Litigation practice group in Detroit. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with 3 to 5 years of experience in complex commercial and business litigation who is looking to deepen litigation skills while working on sophisticated matters across multiple industries.

• Assist in managing complex commercial and business litigation matters
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and client communications
• Participate in court proceedings, hearings, and negotiations
• Support all phases of litigation from early case assessment through resolution

• 3–5 years of relevant commercial or business litigation experience
• Strong academic credentials
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Licensed and in good standing in the applicable state bar

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

• Proficiency in legal research and legal writing
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced litigation environment
