Appellate Attorney

Garan Lucow Miller P.C. is seeking an Appellate Attorney with 5+ years of appellate experience for its Detroit office. Qualified candidates will have experience in the following:

• Civil appellate experience either practicing before or working within the appellate courts is required;
• Very strong research, writing, legal analysis, and oral advocacy skills;
• Development of case strategy and advise Firm clients accordingly;
• Working in State, Appellate, and Federal Courts;
• Prior experience with tracking billable hours is preferred but not required;
• Prior experience in insurance coverage, municipal liability, and/or No-Fault areas of law is preferred but not required

Skills/Qualifications

• Must be licensed to practice in the State of Michigan
