Job Description
Gross and Company is conducting multiple Metro-Detroit area Personal Injury Law Firm client searches for a skilled Medical Malpractice Trial Attorneys
. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of litigating and trying medical malpractice cases, including handling all phases of litigation from case evaluation through trial and post-trial motions.
- Simultaneously manage multiple client cases, ensuring timely and effective progression through all stages of litigation.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to develop winning case strategies.
- Engage in depositions of medical experts, parties, and witnesses and prepare for expert witness testimony.
- Represent clients in court, including motion hearings, settlement conferences, and trials.
- Work collaboratively with a team of attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure successful case outcomes.
- Maintain strong client relationships by providing exceptional communication and legal counsel.
- Negotiate settlements in the client's best interest while always preparing for trial.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in [Insert State(s)].
- Minimum of 7 years of litigation experience, significantly focusing on medical malpractice cases.
- Demonstrated success in first-chair trial experience, including jury trials in medical malpractice litigation.
- In-depth knowledge of medical malpractice law, healthcare standards, and legal procedures.
- Exceptional legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
- Strong negotiation, case management, and organizational abilities.
- Experience working with medical experts and understanding complex medical records.
- Commitment to achieving justice for clients and holding healthcare providers accountable.
- Experience in catastrophic injury or wrongful death cases.
- Established relationships with medical experts and consultants.
- Competitive salary based on experience. $150,000 to $200,000 plus significant success bonus potential.
