Experienced Litigation Attorney | Team Lead | Passionate about Legal Operations & Efficiency

The candidate for this position will be successful if they are able to execute a variety of secretarial duties of a confidential nature. These tasks will include working for one attorney, but also collaborating with attorneys, paralegals and other members of the firm with a series of administrative functions as well as tasks requiring legal acumen. Therefore, the candidate will have to have effective time management and organizational skills coupled with the ability to be detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Administrative functions such as opening files, maintaining spreadsheets, docketing, confirming calendar, scheduling depositions, scheduling independent medical examinations, word processing, e-filing with the court, trial binder preparation, closing files
• First point of contact/representative for clients
• Ordering and summarizing records and claim files
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent experience
• Strong organizational and communication skills
