Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join their team.

position is full time on-site at the firm’s Detroit, MI office.
Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in court, mediation, and arbitration hearings
- Conduct legal research and analysis on cases
- Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
- Interview clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in cases
- Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and defense attorneys
- Communicate with clients regularly to keep them informed of case status and progress
- Attend court appearances and depositions
Qualifications:
- Must have a Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
- Must be a member in good standing of the Michigan Bar or the prospect of getting one soon
- Must have a minimum of 3 years of personal injury litigation experience
- Must have knowledge and expertise in all phases of litigation from pleadings through trial
- Must have knowledge and experience taking and defending depositions
- Must have excellent research and writing abilities
- Must have exceptional attention to detail and a strong work ethic
