This position is based in the Detroit, MI area, supporting General Motors operations within a high‑volume warehouse focused on pick and pack, sequencing, inventory management, and material flow.

We are seeking a motivated Floor Supervisor to provide daily leadership to warehouse employees while ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and customer expectations are consistently met.

• Supervise daily warehouse operations and provide direction to hourly employees
• Lead and support pick and pack, sequencing, shipping, receiving, and inventory activities
• Ensure customer requirements and production schedules are achieved safely and efficiently
• Monitor productivity, quality, attendance, and overall employee performance
• Train, coach, and develop team members while reinforcing operational expectations
• Promote a culture of safety and ensure compliance with company and customer standards
• Assist with staffing, scheduling, and labor planning to support business demands
• Monitor inventory accuracy and assist with cycle counts and inventory control activities
• Identify operational issues, develop corrective actions, and elevate concerns when necessary
• Maintain a strong floor presence and support employees throughout the shift
• Communicate effectively with management, customers, and support departments
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, productivity, quality, and cost reduction
• Complete daily reports and operational documentation as required

• 2+ years of leadership experience in warehousing, logistics, manufacturing, or supply chain operations
• Previous experience leading hourly employees in a fast‑paced environment
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, material flow, inventory control, and productivity metrics
• Experience in automotive or high‑volume operations preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to coach employees, drive accountability, and build effective teams
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, hands‑on leadership role
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and warehouse management systems preferred
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer service
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
• Valid driver's license required
