Minimum 3 years of Quality Management Experience

Venteon is currently seeking an experienced Quality Manager to fill an opening with a Manufacturing Company located in Metro Detroit, MI. Must have experience with automotive quality standards. Experience with metallurgy or steel highly preferred.

• 3-5 years of manufacturing quality experience
• Strong understanding of Quality Standards & tools (PPAP, APQP)
• Experience with audit standards (ISO, IATF, VDA)
• Experience with steel and/or metallurgy preferred

• Plan and coordinate testing to ensure products and processes adhere to customer and industry standards
• Evaluate proposed changes in design, process and materials to current specifications.
• Develop and implement Continuous Improvement procedures to maintain and update standards
• Investigate problems and coordinate corrective action and follow up with customers and suppliers on countermeasures.
• Manage quality staff including technicians
