Are you a Plant Manager, Operations Manager, or Manufacturing Manager looking for a role where you can take full ownership of site performance and grow into a broader, multi-site leadership position?
On offer is a key leadership role with a specialist plastics manufacturer, where you will have real responsibility for profitability, quality, delivery, and team development, with structured support for development through tuition reimbursement, certifications, and ongoing upskilling.
This business is known for producing high-quality tooling and injection molded components for customers across regulated and high-spec environments. As a result of continued requirements across prototype and low-volume production, they are looking to add a senior leader to drive operational performance and continuous improvement on site.
In this role you will lead safety, production, tooling, injection molding, automation/assembly, scheduling, and quality partnering, while building the structure, metrics, and annual operating plan needed to improve margins, reduce waste, and elevate delivery performance.
This role would suit a senior manufacturing leader from plastics injection molding looking for a position with genuine ownership, strong development support, and a clear pathway into higher-level, multi-site leadership.
The Role:- Lead site operations across tooling, injection molding, and assembly/automation
- Own key performance metrics: margin, waste, labor, quality, delivery, and inventory accuracy
- Develop and lead the operations team, including staffing and training
- Drive audits, continuous improvement, and annual operations planning
- Senior leadership experience in plastics injection molding manufacturing
- Strong technical understanding of processing and high-spec/regulated manufacturing environments
- Looking for long-term progression into broader operational leadership
