First Presbyterian of Trenton is a historic Presbyterian church, planted in 1903 and a granddaughter congregation of the very first protestant church of Detroit (later called First Presbyterian Church of Detroit). First Pres is located south of Detroit in what is called the Downriver community. First Pres is a church-planting church with a robust seminary and residency program and is a partner in the Detroit Project church-planting network.
The Assistant Pastor will support in preaching, teaching, and congregational care, and will assist in overseeing a variety of ministries tailored to their gifts and skills.
Master of Divinity required and experience preferred. Applicant must be ordained or ordinable in the Presbyterian Church of America.
