Location: Rotating Hospitals. HF Detroit, HF Macomb, HF West Bloomfield, HF St John, HF Rochester, HF Providence Novi, HF Providence Southfield, Ascension Macomb-Oakland.
Inpatient/Outpatient: 100% outpatient

Position OverviewThis full‑time Employee Health Advanced Practice Provider position at Henry Ford Health offers the opportunity to join a dynamic, systemwide team focused on promoting employee well‑being, workplace safety, and regulatory compliance. The role includes clinical evaluation and management of work‑related injuries and illnesses, blood borne pathogen exposures, vaccination programs, respirator fit testing, and medical surveillance, while ensuring adherence to OSHA, MIOSHA, and CDC guidelines.
Ideal candidates will have experience in Employee Health, Occupational Health, or Urgent Care, with strong assessment skills, sound clinical judgment, and the ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment requiring both autonomy and collaboration. This position provides consistent weekday hours, no weekends or call, a supportive interdisciplinary team, and the opportunity to directly impact workforce health while contributing to process improvement, standardization efforts, and innovative initiatives across multiple Henry Ford sites.

- Master’s Degree in Nursing; licensure as a Certified Nurse Practitioner; licensure as a Registered Nurse; and BCLS certification.
- NP – Completion of a Nurse Practitioner training program accredited by the Commission on the Collegiate of Nursing Education (CCNE) or the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC)
- PA – Completion of a Physician Assistant training program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC‑PA)
- NP – Certification by a certification body recognized by the State of Michigan
- PA – Certification by National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of Michigan, or in process of applying (must have proof of application)
- National certification as an NP or PA (e.g., ANCC, AANP, NCCPA)
- BLS certification required.
- DEA/CSL required through credentialing; NPs do not have controlled substance licenses, only PAs.
- Clinical experience in Employee Health, Occupational Health, or Urgent Care.
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, multidisciplinary environment.
- Commitment to patient‑centered care and continuous professional development.
