Riverside Regional Medical Center seeking CRNA for 73 24hr shifts

Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, VA, provides the newest medical technology in a healing environment. It is the most comprehensive facility of its kind on the Virginia Peninsula. This short-term acute care hospital with 300 beds is a voluntary nonprofit and a member of Riverside Health System. The hospital features a neonatal intensive care unit with 21 beds and neonatologists located on-site.

Our practice operates under a collaborative care team model. We focus on giving everyone a voice, while supporting, respecting, and helping them to deliver care excellence.

• Pre-anesthesia assessment
• Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
• Induction, maintenance and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
• Performance of clinical intervention as needed

• Holds a current license as a registered professional nurse and complies with any applicable state statutory or regulatory requirements concerning the advanced practice of nursing
• Graduation from a program of nurse anesthesia education accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (COA) or its predecessor
• Complies with one of the following regarding certification, or initial certification or recertification:
• Meets requirements above and is awaiting initial certification; or
• Is currently certified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists or its predecessor; or
• Is currently recertified by the AANA Council on Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists

• Salary: $260K - $275K
