CRNA opportunity for a day shift with 7 on 7 off, in Austin, TX where we have 300 days of sunshine a year!

A AG provides anesthesia services for much of the St. David’s Health Care system in the Austin area . St. David’s Medical Center is home to the world-renowned Texas Cardiac Arrhythmia Institute and St. David’s Neuroscience & Spine Institute and provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care . In addition to St. David’s Medical Center, o ur practice provides anesthesia services ’s North Austin Medical Center , South Austin Hospital, and Round Rock Medical Center and accompanying outpatient surgery centers .

Our practice covers the full range of specialties including g eneral inpatient and outpatient cases , trauma , OB, neuro, EP and more. CRNAs do their own spinals ; as well as epidurals and arterial lines on a case-by-case basis.

Monday - Friday 7am - 3pm

Saturday and Sunday 7am - 7pm, following 7 days off

Our diverse group is composed of anesthesiologists, CRNAs, and CAAs who provide anesthesia services in a care team model; team members are exposed to a wide variety of complex cases.

Responsibilities

• Pre-anesthesia assessment
• Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
• Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
• Performance of clinical intervention as needed

Requirements

• Current license as a registered professional nurse
• Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
• Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists

• Salary:
  Based on years of experience: $200K - $260K (will be prorated to 0.8 FTE)
• Sign-on Incentives (Bonus with/without retention, Training Assistance, or Loan Repayment):$100K (will be prorated to 0.8 FTE)
