Job Description Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
Location: On-site in Detroit, MI
About the RoleAs a Family Nurse Practitioner at our DPC practice, you'll bring your clinical expertise to a patient-centered, fast-paced environment where meaningful relationships come first. You'll work alongside physicians, nurses, and support staff to deliver comprehensive, compassionate care across all stages of life.
What You'll Do- Own patient care: Examine patients, gather health histories, and evaluate physical conditions to make informed diagnoses and treatment decisions.
- Collaborate with physicians: Prescribe therapy or medications under physician oversight and coordinate care to deliver comprehensive treatment plans.
- Lead diagnostic efforts: Administer and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, x-rays, EKGs) to uncover the root cause of health concerns.
- Provide holistic care: Counsel patients on growth, development, family planning, preventative care, and overall wellness.
- Perform procedures: Deliver essential procedures such as injections, suturing, wound care, and immunizations, all aimed at helping patients thrive.
- Supervise and coordinate: Guide medical assistants and clinical staff to ensure seamless, high-quality care delivery.
- Bilingual Communication: Serve as an essential point of contact for our diverse patient base by communicating fluently in both English and Spanish

Requirements What You'll Bring- 2-5 years of experience in Primary Care and Pediatrics (required).
- MI FNP licensure (required).
- Professional working proficiency and fluency in Spanish (required).
- Master's Degree in Nursing or related field.
- Strong clinical judgment, commitment to patient-centered care, and a growth mindset.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while keeping patient outcomes top of mind.
