Description:

Seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical Surgical unit. This position offers a dynamic work environment with diverse patient populations. The ideal candidate will have experience with both medical patients and various surgical specialties including orthopedic, neurovascular, cardiopulmonary, gastrointestinal, urology, hysterectomies, and mastectomies. Staffing ratios are typically 1:5-6 during nights, with the potential for 7-8 patients when paired with an LPN for additional support.

Candidates should have experience in accessing and managing ports, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, and CVA management. The ability to perform tasks such as chest tube management, colostomy care, feeding tube management, and wound care is essential. This role also requires proficiency in non-invasive airway management and understanding of telemetry monitoring.
