Catering Bartender

The opportunity

Delaware North Sport service is searching for seasonal Catering Bartenders to join us at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan. As a Banquet Bartender, you will be responsible for serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages at events while providing an excellent guest experience.

Please note this is a tipped position, the hourly minimum pay listed doesn’t include any potential tipped earnings.

$7.56 – $7.56 / hour

• Set up portable bar with all the appropriate items
• Organize wine and champagne service for meal functions
• Maintain bar supplies and glassware and know drink recipes, prices, and types of beverages available
• Measure all drinks using a shot glass and encourage sales to guests
• Ensure all bar billing is accurate and money drops are done at the end of the shift

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Minimum of 1 year of bartending experience
• Experience in cash handling and credit card processing required
• Previous experience using computerized point of salesystem required

• Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions
• Ability to lift stock up to 50 pounds occasionally
• Noise level may be moderate to high during busy times
