** THE JOB:
**** THE DAY-TO-DAY:
*** Oversee product consistency and make necessary modifications according to business needs
* Multifaceted decision making in collaboration with the Chef and Department Executives, including but not limited to proper ordering, guest assistance, and working with the front of the house
* Managing scheduling, training, and discipline
* Conduct training for Master cooks, cooks, pantry workers, helpers and kitchen workers on job responsibilities
* Assist Executive Room Chef by controlling food and labor costs, establish goals, and objectives that focus on profit, product and people
* Assist in overseeing kitchen-related activities pertaining to the normal operation of the restaurant, menu and staff
* Create, read, measure and execute recipes and new daily specials
** THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
*** Possess a culinary associate's degree or equivalent work experience preferred
* Two years of similar food and beverage, chef, and cooking experience
* Ability to work a varied shift to include weekends, holidays, and evenings
