• Engage with team members to ensure they receive onboarding, training, development, coaching, and feedback.
• Identify talent and facilitate career discussions to support staffing and a diversified talent pipeline.
• Handle candid discussions to uphold Meijer standards and encourage growth.
• Accountable for area operations and financial results, managing corporate plan execution to maximize sales and productivity while owning P&L budget lines.
• Drive safety and compliance, and maintain store condition management.
• Ensure Team Leaders and Leads assign daily work and training needs.
• Perform additional duties as necessary.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 4+ years of retail/grocery or customer‑service experience.
• Progressive leadership experience preferred.
• A passion for delivering industry‑leading service.
• Strong communication skills, able to provide clear direction.
• Ability to analyze financial and statistical data to inform decisions.
• Commitment to safe work practices.
• Creative and proactive thinking applied to business challenges.
