The Ambassador Duty Free store on the Ambassador Bridge Plaza is located in a secure U.S. customs environment and provides visiting guests with a unique shopping experience. The Liquor Representative will strive to meet and exceed the following duties along with all other standards expected of an employee outlined in the policies, procedures, and operating standards including but not limited to breaks and attendance policies.
** Duties shall include but not be limited to:*
* · Attain sales and merchandising goals
· Knowledge of products, competitive conditions and market trends
· Ability to help translate market trends into an action plan to grow the customers’ business
· Ability to recognize, respond, and communicate sales opportunities and threats
· An overall goal to attain a set sales goal increase year over year in the category of Liquor as outlined by management
· Solicit, install and maintain floor displays and point of sale (P.O.S)
· Manage shelf space to company standard
· Maintain appropriate shelf tags and signage
· Ability to take accurate inventories and recommend appropriate stock levels.
· Make sure all areas are clean and presentable
· Wen directed change end caps and tables to make sure that they are up to date with the Marketing Calendar
· On-Premise Selling, Merchandising, and Tastings when applicable.
· Ability to perform the following duties as it relates to Managing your Territory
· Establish and maintain good customer relations to create respect and rapport with those who enter the store
· Adhere to federal, state, and compliance regulations that govern our industry
· Follow up on customer issues and concerns
· Be available to assist customers at all times
· Assist customers from start to finish. Products knowledge, suggestions, and final sale and check out
· Knowledge and a basic understanding of other store areas, operations, and categories
· Assist at register position as needed and directed to support other team members
