Job Title: Regional Technical Sales Manager
Location: Mid East U.S. / Great Lakes Territory (Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, Illinois, Missouri). Frequent travel required.

Base Pay Range: $120,000 – $140,000 per year

Key Responsibilities- Build and nurture lasting relationships with the client’s distributor network and end‑users throughout the six‑state territory.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the client’s market presence.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor and field sales engineer, providing insights to optimize manufacturing operations.
- Regularly visit manufacturers, distributors, and key accounts, establishing the client as a valued partner.
- Provide feedback on market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity.
- Strong background in manufacturing, machining, CNC processes, or similar fields; experience with cutting tools or tooling technology preferred.
- Proven success in a technical sales or product specialist role, ideally within manufacturing or tooling industries.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and a consultative sales approach focused on long‑term partnerships.
- Self‑driven and autonomous, capable of managing a travel‑heavy schedule.
- Based in the Mid East U.S. / Great Lakes Territory with flexibility for travel within the designated region.
- Monthly retainer payment based on experience (DOE).
- On‑target earnings (OTE) in excess of $120,000 – $140,000 per year, with uncapped earning potential.
- Guaranteed commission during the ramp‑up period and additional commissions for sales exceeding targets.
- Car allowance and fully covered travel expenses.
