Sales Counselor

About the Role

This position sells pre‑need and at‑need funeral services and inventory as well as cemetery services, property and merchandise. The Sales Counselor assists families with funeral selections and attends services. Leads are generated through walk‑ins, inbound calls, and proactive lead generation.

Training pay of $18.00 per hour for 6 weeks. Estimated first‑year earnings range, including hourly wage and commission: $60,000 - $70,000. Uncapped commission and earnings.

Job Type: Full‑time.

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in business, marketing, or sales preferred.
• 1 year of sales experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle; mileage reimbursement provided.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook) required.
• Experience with a CRM lead management system preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving skills.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality with sensitive information.
• Availability to work holidays, evenings, and weekends as needed.
