Job SummaryAs an AI Strategy & Growth Lead at Soothsayer Analytics, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by proactively generating opportunities, building a healthy sales pipeline, and owning client relationships through the full sales lifecycle. This is a hands‑on, individual‑contributor role with clear accountability for pipeline creation, deal progression, and client engagement.
You will report directly to the VP of Sales and Business Development and will play a critical role in executing Soothsayer’s U.S. go‑to‑market strategy. You will also guide and support the AI Sales Associate to ensure consistent lead generation and funnel development. This role is based onsite in Detroit and focuses primarily on the U.S. market.
Key Responsibilities- Sales Pipeline Ownership:
Build, manage, and grow a qualified sales pipeline for AI consulting and solutions engagements across the U.S. - Lead Generation:
Actively generate new opportunities using outbound calls, Linked In and social media outreach, email campaigns, referrals, and other creative prospecting methods. - Client Engagement:
Conduct meetings with prospective clients to understand business priorities and introduce Soothsayer’s AI strategy, consulting, and solution capabilities. - Opportunity
Qualification:
Assess and qualify opportunities based on business need, urgency, budget, and decision‑making structure. - Sales Cycle Management:
Own opportunities from initial outreach through proposal, negotiation, and deal closure, ensuring consistent follow‑up and deal progression. - Internal Coordination:
Act as the primary bridge between clients and Soothsayer’s internal teams, coordinating discovery sessions, proposals, and follow‑up discussions. - Team Enablement:
Provide guidance and direction to the AI Sales Associate to ensure consistent lead flow and effective handoff of qualified opportunities. - CRM & Forecasting:
Maintain accurate records of pipeline activity, opportunity status, and forecasts in the CRM system. - Market Development:
Support targeted outreach campaigns and account‑based sales initiatives aligned with priority industries in the U.S. - Relationship Building:
Develop long‑term client relationships to enable repeat business and account expansion.
- 3 to 6 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or services‑led sales roles, preferably within consulting, technology services, or digital transformation.
- Demonstrated ability to independently generate leads and build a sustained, qualified sales pipeline.
- Proven experience owning the full sales cycle from outreach to deal closure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence engaging senior business stakeholders.
- Highly self‑motivated, disciplined, and comfortable in a proactive, outbound sales environment.
- Experience using CRM systems and structured sales processes.
- Ability to work onsite from Detroit and engage clients across the U.S. market.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent professional experience will be considered.
