Relationship Manager – Global Payment Holding Company (Detroit, Michigan, USA)
Job SummaryResponsible for prospecting and presenting to small and mid‑sized merchants, restaurateurs, and businesses to close deals within a fast sales cycle. As a Core Payments Relationship Manager (RM) you will report to a District Manager, receive coaching from a Director, and upsell existing clients on Global products and services while maintaining regular communication with the Core Payments District Manager.
Job Duties- Close sales of business solutions with merchants throughout the area.
- Work closely with the local District Manager to set appointments with business owners in person via your network and referral partnerships.
- Run scheduled appointments, uncover needs, and present Global Payments solutions to close sales in small to mid‑sized businesses.
- During the training period, the District Manager will accompany you on initial appointments to train you on our short‑cycle sales process using Atlas and Salesforce for lead generation, sales presentations, client financial analysis, and paperless contract processing.
- Prospect new clients.
- Maintain client records in the Customer Relationship Management system (currently Atlas) including call notes, scheduled interactions, contact information, and other relevant data.
- Achieve minimum production requirements, including setting first‑time appointments to secure quota.
- Continuously build knowledge of the product/service portfolio and developments within the financial technology industry.
- Attend weekly team meetings and weekly one‑on‑one sessions with your leader.
- Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
- Excellent prospecting, communication, presentation, and networking skills.
- Works well independently and as part of a team.
- Professional demeanor and impeccable integrity.
- High sense of urgency and innate sales talent.
- Enjoys cold‑calling and face‑to‑face interaction.
- Knowledge of Restaurant and/or Retail industry is a plus.
- 18 years of age or older.
- Valid driver’s license required; the role involves regular driving to client sites.
- Background check will be conducted after conditional offer of employment (state law).
- Mandatory drug screening on or near the 60th day of employment.
- Live in the area relative to job posting location.
- Ability to be in the field a minimum of 75% of the time.
- High school diploma/GED.
- At least two years of relevant experience.

Full‑Time
Compensation & Benefits- Annual On‑Target Earnings (OTE): $100,000
- Base Salary: $40,000
- Residual Income: Keep earning from your hard work.
