Position SummaryThe Territory Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth and managing customer relationships within an assigned territory. This role focuses on selling pump systems, control panels, and related solutions while providing technical support and value-added service to engineers, contractors, municipalities, and end users.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and grow sales within an assigned territory
- Develop and maintain relationships with engineers, contractors, municipalities, distributors, and end users
- Promote and sell pumps, control panels, and related equipment
- Identify new business opportunities and follow leads through to completion
- Provide basic technical support and coordinate with engineering and inside sales teams
- Prepare quotations, submittals, and sales forecasts
- Conduct product presentations and job site visits
- Stay current on product offerings, industry trends, and competitor activity
- Achieve or exceed sales targets and performance goals
- Sales experience in pumps, controls, electrical, industrial equipment, or related industries is a plus.
- Strong understanding of pump systems and/or electrical control panels (preferred)
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with strong time management and organizational abilities
- Ability to travel regularly within the assigned territory
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office
- Valid driver’s license
- Experience working with municipalities, engineers, or contractors
- Technical background in mechanical, electrical, or industrial systems
- Manufacturer or distributor sales experience
- Competitive base salary plus commission
