About Slayd Slayd is an all-in-one booking and payments app and a full social media platform, built for independent pros and the businesses they work in. That includes hair stylists, barbers, nail techs, lash and brow artists, makeup artists, estheticians, personal trainers and more.

On the social side, pros post their work, build a portfolio and grow a following. Clients discover pros through the Explore feed, follow them, like and comment on their posts, share looks and message them directly. When a client sees work they love, they can book that pro in a few taps, right from the post.

On the business side, pros run everything from their phone: their schedule, clients, deposits, payments and payouts to their bank. Clients book a time, pay and keep every appointment, message and receipt in one place.

Slayd is live on the App Store and the web, and growing. We're building our first sales team: people who know this world, love talking to business owners, and want to grow with an early-stage company.

About the role

As a Sales Representative, you'll be the first face of Slayd for pros and small businesses in your area. You'll find pros who are juggling DMs, paper books, cash apps and too many tools. You'll show them how Slayd simplifies their day and help them get set up. This is a commission-based, flexible role with no cap on earnings. Your income grows with every pro you bring on and every month they stay.

• Find and reach out to independent pros, salons, barbershops, studios and gyms, in person, by phone, by DM and on social media
• Walk pros through Slayd: their profile and posts, booking, client management, deposits, payments and payouts
• Help new pros set up their profile, services and payout account so they're ready to take bookings on day one
• Follow up with leads and keep track of your conversations and signups
• Pass along feedback from pros (what they love, what they need) to help shape the product
• Represent Slayd at local events, salons and community spaces
• Hit monthly signup goals set together with the founders

• Strong communication and people skills: comfortable starting conversations with business owners and handling objections
• Self-motivated and organized, able to manage your own schedule and pipeline without day-to-day supervision
• Reliable smartphone and internet access
• Comfortable learning and showing a mobile app
• 18 years or older and legally able to work in the United States
• Preferred:1+ years in sales, business development, account management or customer-facing work
• Experience in, or strong connections to, beauty, barber, wellness or fitness businesses
• Experience with commission-based or outside sales
• A strong local network or social media following among pros
• Reliable transportation for in-person visits
• Bilingual is a plus
