Overview
The Radiotherapy On‑Site Application Trainer will train and support Brainlab’s core IGRT and SGRT products, primarily for Radiation Oncologists, Medical Physicists, Radiation Therapists, Dosimetrists and Administrators.
Responsibilities- Conduct on‑site customer and classroom‑based training on Exac Trac Dynamic and Exac Trac Surface systems.
- Provide on‑site guidance to radiation therapists, physicians and medical physicists during patient treatments.
- Deliver On‑Site Applications Training (OAT) courses and maintain certification for course delivery.
- Provide detailed assessment of customer training needs and propose tailored solutions.
- Maintain all training documentation and update materials based on customer feedback.
- Support the Instructional Design team with curriculum design of course materials.
- Continuously improve Brainlab education procedures to increase efficiency.
- Communicate courteously with all stakeholders, including vendors, partners and Brainlab employees.
- Act as a product knowledge resource for the applications.
- Provide support for meetings and trade shows upon request.
- Investigate and respond to field customer questions and requests.
- Maintain effective customer communication to troubleshoot issues and enhance satisfaction.
- Grow the Brainlab Education business and build customer satisfaction toward the level of training provided.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Radiation Therapy, Medical Dosimetry, Medical Physics, Biomedical Engineering or equivalent.
- 3–5 years of clinical experience in radiation therapy (preferred).
- 2–3 years of professional or academic technical training/education experience (preferred).
- Excellent organizational and time‑management skills, with the ability to manage multiple work streams simultaneously.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Comfortable with software and technology in general.
- Strong sense of professionalism and confidence in interacting with all levels.
- Works well both independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision amid changing priorities and demanding deadlines.
- Commitment to quality with excellent attention to detail.
- Maintains corporate confidentiality.
- Self‑motivated and detail‑oriented, with a proven history of independent decision making.
- Willingness to travel frequently (50% – 75%+ of the time).
